Let’s demystify politics #13/2022

 

On 27th of June took place the 13th event held in 2022 within the "Let's demystify politics" campaign that I initiated in 2017. 

This year alone, my campaign “Let’s demystify politics” has involved two meetings with local mayors Natalie Silva (Larochette) and Marion Zovillé-Braquet (Contern), two Open Fora with CSV President Claude Wiseler, eight visits of Luxembourg’s Parliament (Chambre des Députés Grand-Duché de Luxembourg) with MP Claude Wiseler, MP and local counsellor Paul Galles and MP and first alderman of Luxembourg-city Serge Wilmes, and one meeting with European MP Isabel Wiseler-Lima.

Europafest 2022 - grateful to be European

 

9th May is always a special day in Luxembourg. It’s a legal holiday to celebrate Europe and the added value that we, European citizens, get from being citizens of the European Union.

This year again, my company, Languages.lu, had a stand at the local Europafest organized in the beautiful forest between Strassen and Bertrange known as “Fräiheetsbam”.

On 9th of May 2022 from 11 am to 6 pm - we've had live music, food stands, animations, information materials about the EU, books for children and gadgets from the representation of the European Commission and from the European MPs Isabel Wiseler and Christophe Hansen.
